The mission of the ISPI Central Florida Chapter is to provide affordable professional development in the Human Performance Technology (HPT) standards from nationally recognized thought leaders and practitioners.
Bi-monthly evening programs begin in January each year at the chapter’s partner facility, JetBlue University. The program for the current year is available at the Events tab.
Chapters provide an excellent way for professionals to first learn about HPT and later share their applications of human performance technology within this community of practice. The chapter may also provide a gateway to committee membership and leadership roles and further enhance the professional networking experience.
Human Performance Technology is an evidence-based, research-based set of methods and tools dealing with analysis, measurement and evaluation - process improvement - organizational design/alignment - motives, incentives and feedback - and instructional systems. HPT is applied systemically and systematically to the worker level, the work level and the workplace levels for repeatable results. HPT is based on data. For more on HPT, see the About Us tab / What is HPT?.
ISPI is an important affinity organization where members valuable each other for professional development and colleagueship. The Society is a source of challenge, learning and friendship, and provides opportunities for growth and recognition.
